Moving Forward in One Direction

Posted on

First off, thank you so much to everyone (and there were thousands of you) who took the time to review our design options and provide your feedback! We have combed through the polling data and the direct feedback. We have gathered insight from leadership across campus. And we have made a decision: we are moving forward with Option 1 for the new TCU web design system.

Key takeaways from Campus Feedback Round 1:

  • More purple / less aqua
  • Large format campus photos & videos are great
  • “This is TCU” quick facts are nice
  • Keep things easy-to-navigate, especially on small screens
  • Maintain visual continuity across print, web and digital media

As promised, we are going to refine our designs through our iterative design process, as well as conducting focus groups and user testing sessions. The end result should be a warm, welcoming and comfortable digital space for all of our audiences.

If you have any interest in participating in our focus groups or user tests, please let us know via our feedback form.
